Sh. Arvind Kumar

Born on 20-10-1974. Did his matriculation from Government High School Dadri Toye, District Rohtak, Haryana. Did his graduation (B.Sc. Non-Medical) from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. Did LL.B. from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh in the year 1999 and started practicing Law in Delhi High Court, Tis Hazari Court, Delhi, and Patiala House Court at New Delhi. Did his LL.M. ( 3 years course ) from Delhi University, Delhi. Got Selected in Himachal Judicial Service in the year 2003. Served as Civil Judge (Jr. Div)-cum-JMIC at Chamba, Dehra, Jubbal, Chopal, and Shimla. Promoted as Civil Judge (Sr. Div) in the year 2012 and served as Civil Judge (Sr. Div.)-cum-ACJM at Shimla and Dehra. Posed as Civil Judge (Sr. Div.)-cum-CJM, Kinnaur at Recongpeo and worked as such there w.e.f. 12-05-2016 to 20-07-2017 and then transferred and posted to Mandi as Secretary, D.L.S.A. Mandi, and Bilaspur at Mandi and worked there as such w.e .f. 27.07.2017 to November 2018.Thereafter transferred and posted as Senior Civil Judge-cum-CJM Lahaul and Spiti at Kullu and worked there as such w.e.f 03-12-2018 to 05.08.2021. Again on transfer posted as Senior Civil Judge-cum-CJM Kullu and worked there as such at Kullu w.e.f. 05.08.2021 to 06.12.2021. On being promoted and posted as Additional District and Sessions Judge, Fast Track Special Court (Rape/POCSO), worked as such at Sirmaur District at Nahan w.e.f. 10-12-2021 to 28-03-2023. On being transfer and posted as Add. District and Sessions Judge, District Sirmaur at Nahan, w.e.f. 29.03.2023 till 07.05.2024. Now, upon transfer joined as Add. District and Sessions Judge-I, Mandi w.e.f. 09-05-2024.
