Sh. Avinash Chander

Born on 28.3.1976 in village Chalali, District Kangra, H.P. in the house of Late Sh. M.R. Sharma & Smt. Rattni Devi, completed my school education in local Government School. Did B.Sc.(Non-Medical) from MCM D.A.V. College, Kangra. Completed L.L.B from H.P. University Shimla in the year 1999 and was awarded three Gold Medals in L.L.B. examination. Did L.L.M from H.P. University Shimla and was awarded Junior Research Fellowship by the University. Also did diplomas in Personal Management and Labour Welfare from H.P. University and in Management from I.G.N.O.U. Qualified NET examination conducted by UGC in year 2003. Remained lecturer in Law in Regional Center of H.P. University at Dharamshala and in Law College at Kala-Amb. Topped in Judicial Services examination conducted in the year 2003. Joined as Judicial Officer on 4.12.2003. Promoted to the rank of Civil Judge (Senior Division) in October, 2010. Posted as Senior Civil Judge-cum-Chief Judicial Magistrare Hamirpur w.e.f. 28.04.2014. Promoted as Additional District and Sessions Judge w.e.f 30-11-2021. Now, assumed charge as Additional District & Sessions Judge, Sundernagar w.e.f. 09-05-2024.
