Sh. Nitin Kumar

Born on 4th December 1979, to Smt. Kamini and Sh. Ram Swaroop, at Vill. Budhwin, Tehsil Nadaun, Distt. Hamirpur (H.P.). He did his matriculation in 1995 and Senior Secondary in 1997 from Govt. Sr. Secondary school Galore, District Hamirpur H.P. Graduated B.A. with Computer application, from NSCBM Govt. P.G. College Hamirpur in April 2000. He remained at the NSCBM college to complete M.A./Economics in 2002. He obtained his Bachelor of education in 2003. He then attended H.P.U., department of laws, Summer Hills, Shimla for completing degree in-laws in 2007. He then went on to complete an MBA (HR).After receiving his education got enrolled as an advocate, in the bar Council of H.P. in Sept. 2007 and practiced law, thereafter. He was selected as a Trained Graduate Teacher (Arts) in 2010. But being recruited as Assistant District Attorney/Assistant Public Prosecutor in October 2010 has joined H.P. Prosecution department. Prior to joining the prosecution department, remained attached as trained trainer cum faculty to the Himachal Pradesh Institute of Public Administration (H.I.P.A.) Shimla. After remaining ADA/Assistant/Additional Public prosecutor for Eight and half years has joined as Additional District and Sessions Judge in May 2019, after qualifying the direct recruitment examination and remained on training at H.P. Judicial Academy till June 2019 before being transferred as Additional District & Sessions Judge Kullu. Consequently, assumed charge as Additional District & Sessions Judge, Kullu on 1st July 2019 and remained posted as such till 6th December 2021. Served as Additional District and Sessions Judge-II, Kangra at Dharamshala w.e.f 8th December 2021 to January 2023. Then remained posted as Additional District and Sessions Judge, Dehra till May 2024. Now, on placement as District and Sessions Judge, joined as Principal Judge, Family Court, Mandi w.e.f. 09-05-2024.
