Sh. Paras Doger

Born on 19^th  June, 1977 at District Mandi (HP). Father late Sh. J.C. Sood was also Judicial Officer and retired as Additional District and Sessions Judge. Did my matriculation from Kangra in the year 1992, graduation from Govt. College Dharamshala in the year 1997 and LLB from Symbiosis Laws College, Pune, Maharashtra in the year 2000 and started practice in District Court and Hon’ble High Court at Shimla in Civil, Criminal and Writ Matters. After passing the competitive examination for the post of Additional District and Sessions Judge in the year 2015, appointed as such and posted at Chamba on first appointment. Assumed the charge of the post of Additional District and Sessions Judge, Chamba on 5^th August, 2015. On transfer, posted as Additional District and Sessions Judge-II, Kangra Civil and Sessions Division at Dharamshala and assumed the charge as such on 29^th December, 2018. Thereafter, on transfer, posted as Additional District and Sessions Judge-I, Kangra Civil and Sessions Division at Dharamshala and assumed the charge as such on 06^th April, 2019. Thereafter on transfer and placement as District and Sessions Judge, Kinnaur Civil and Sessions Division at Rampur Bushahar assumed the charge as such on 12^th August, 2021. Joined in the Hon’ble High Court, as a Registrar on 7^th  March, 2022 and remained posted as as Registrar (Judicial) w.e.f. 9^th  March, 2022 till 01^st April, 2025. Now, upon transfer, joined as District and Sessions Judge, Mandi w.e.f. 2^nd April 2025.
