Sh. Yajuvender Singh

Sh. Yajuvender Singh is an Officer in the cadre of Himachal Pradesh Higher Judicial Services. Born to Smt. Shailaja Singh and Sh. Kanwar Bhupinder Singh, on 17.05.1976 in village Mohal, District Kullu. Did his graduation from D.A.V College, Chandigarh and L.L.B from Punjab University, Chandigarh, in the year 2001. Practiced as a lawyer at District Courts Kullu and thereafter, joined Himachal Pradesh Judicial Services in the year 2003. Served as Judicial Magistrate, First Class-cum-Civil Judge, Additional CJM-cum-Senior Civil Judge and then as CJM in various districts of Himachal Pradesh. Was elevated to the Higher Judicial Services in 2021 and assumed the charge of Additional District and Sessions Judge, Fast Track Special Court (Rape/POCSO), Mandi on 09.12.2021. Thereafter, served as Secretary, Supreme Court Legal Services Committee (SCLSC) in the Registry of Supreme Court of India w.e.f 06.01.2022 to 31.12.2022. Also served as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) and then as Director, National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) till 09.04.2024. On repatriation, joined as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the Registry of the Hon’ble High Court of Himachal Pradesh and upon further transfer, assumed the charge of Additional District and Sessions Judge, Kinnaur at Rampur Bushahr on 09.05.2024. Thereafter, remained posted as Addl. District and Sessions Judge-II Shimla w.e.f. 17.01.2025 to 22.09.2026. Pursuant to further transfer, assumed the charge of Additional District and Sessions Judge, I, Mandi, on 28.09.2026 (forenoon)
